The Theatre Royal in Glasgow, opened in the latter half of the 19th century is the longest running country in the entire country of Scotland. History says, that the site where the Theatre Royal now stands was home to 3 theatres, 2 of which were destroyed in a fire. Only this seemed to survive the impact and has an importance of its own in addition to being one of the most entertaining venues in Glasgow.
